Events and “Going”

• At the top is “Nearest”: the ticket of the nearest event. Below are the others by week and a calendar with filters by organizer and format.
• MakeSales meeting series (Brainstorm, Nyting, PUBlic figures and others) are chosen in the filters.
• Past events are in the archive. It has search by name, place and speaker.

On the event page press “Register” (a Telegram link) or “Event site”. The organizer handles registration on their side. If an event has slots for companies, they are booked separately: see the guide for companies.

The “Share” button gives a link and a ready announcement text for friends. A bookmark saves the event to “Saved”.

   Open the bot

   @MakesalesUz_bot, the Start button. A guest can do this without an account.

   Subscribe to announcements

   The “Subscribe to updates” button or the /settings command. Then new events arrive in the bot with a cover and a “Details” button.

   Press “✋ Going”

   The button is under the announcement and in the list of nearest events (the /events command). Pressing it again removes the mark.

   Get a reminder

   The bot reminds you the day before at 10:00 and an hour before the start. If the time is still to be announced, it reminds you the day before.

You can have no more than 30 “Going” marks. The /stop command turns off all messages and removes the marks.

An event has a remind-an-hour-before button: it works through browser notifications, so turn them on first in “Notifications”. If the bot is going to remind you an hour before, a duplicate will not arrive.
